Corporate Partners
North East Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby Club are looking for Corporate Partners to work with the wheelchair rugby community in developing opportunities across the region.
Wheelchair Sport For All
Our aims are to firstly offer access to wheelchair sport for all individuals from across the region where they be male, female, young or old. Secondly, we aim to develop a competitive team that aims to compete in the National Leagues

The wheelchair rugby club was established in 2018 and we came third in our first national tournament spanning 3 weekends, in 2019. The success of the club is growing and in 2020 we secured corporate sponsorship and grants to come out of lockdown financially secure for 2021 and beyond.
Sponsorship Packages
Our sponsorship packages aim to provide local corporate partners with brand awareness, to provide them with a CSR project and to provide them with an activity in which their staff can become involved.
We have 5 levels of sponsorship packages
Sponsorship
Player
£200
Your company's name or branding included alongside your chosen players biography on the club's official website, your player will come into your office to be photographed in their playing chair and strip for promotional purposes.
Your company's name alongside your player in matchday programmes.
We have 10 payers looking for sponsorship every year. £50 from your sponsorship will be spent on playing and training kit for your player.
Investment £200 excl VAT per season.
Kit Sponsor
£1,250
We compete in a national Rugby 5's Championship which spans 3 weekends in the Autumn of 2021. The overall winner of these tournaments wins promotion into the Premiership.
Your company's logo will be displayed on our playing kit, website, social media and your banner at each tournament (supplied by sponsor). You will receive several hi-res photos with players and your brand at the tournament and acknowledgements in all PR.

The sponsor will also receive a piece of each kit that is sponsored.
Chair
£5,000
The cost of rugby apprioved wheelchairs is prohibitive for individuals and can restrict the numbers who can be involved in the sport.
We are looking for corporate partners to sponsor an individual chair.
Your company's logo will appear on the chair for 2021.
The chairs will be used at: 3 national events, promotion taster events open to the general public and in training sessions with our players and supporters.

Chair & Wheels
£7,000
The new wheelchair package enables the club to buy a new chair with 2 spare wheels and your logo will be added to the wheels (Design work to be provided by the sponsor).
This package also exclusively offers your team the opportunity to take part in a team building day with us. This will be a tailor made day for you and your team to experience the skill, physicality and finesse of wheelchair rugby.

Lockdown Helps Wheelchair Sport In The North East.
Newcastle Wheelchair Rugby Club secures the purchase of 6 new chairs through fundraising in lockdown and a new website. Stelrad & SeaPigs8 partnered to create the club's new website to promote the club and raise awareness of wheelchair sport in the north east.
