WR5’s Championship Summer League
The North East Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby Club competed in the first weekend of three, in the national Wheelchair Rugby 5’s Championship Summer League. This is the full game between the North East Barbarians and Team Endeavour Punishers.
As always the game was very competitive and both teams gave everything they had. The Barbarians came out on top this time, however, the Punishers will be looking for revenge in July. The game was played with great team spirit and the game was a pleasure to watch. Go Barbarians!

WR5’s Championship Summer League
The North East Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby Club competed in the first weekend of three, in the national Wheelchair Rugby 5’s Championship Summer League. This is the full game between the North East Barbarians and Coventry Stampede.
The game was an end to end affair which was fiercely competitive. The Stampede managed to overcome the brave Barbarians and win the game by 3 points. The game was fast paced, skilful and played fairly by both teams. The Stampede have been a thorn in the Barbarians side for the last few seasons and their win was well deserved, but the Barbarians were hot on their tales. Go Barbarians!
